i hate that word SO MUCH.
1. way too long
2. too easy to spell
3. people think it's hard to spell
4. people think they're smart when they use it.
5 WHO, IN THIS DAY AND AGE, NEEDS TO TALK ABOUT THE SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE?? WHO??

also the original plan for this comic was for black-shirt to say "i've got a big word too: supercilious"
but i don't think enough people know what 'supercilious' means.

It made me laugh, mission accomplished. Gotta love the facial expression in the middle frame.
As for point 4, I must say, if you're actively involved in a discussion in which it would be contextually sound to throw in antidisestablishmentarianism, chances are, by average standards, you are 'smart' :p

yeah but i mean c'mon. let's talk about wigs 'n' torries while we're at it. or how much i love tea and those darn brittish's embargo. the point is, no one's used that word in context in at least 40 some odd years.
